How to: Start computer in Safe mode |

When you know that the computer is infected it is a good practice to start the computer in safe mode so you can run the programs to clean it, here I will show you in simple steps how to load the computer is safe mode, remember that after you have finished using the computer is safe mode you have to disable this option so the computer will load normal.
- From the Windows Start menu, click Run.
- In the Open field, type MSCONFIG and click Ok
The screen should look something like this:
- On the BOOT tab, check /SAFEBOOT.
- Click Restart when prompted.
After this has been done then the computer will load in safe mode, just remember to uncheck the /SAFEBOOT option back when you are finish working in safe mode.
